According to news reports, Tata Teleservices has replied to both TRAI and the government on the issue of its Push-to-Talk services.
The regulator had earlier raised certain questions on the operation of these services. One issue was that no caller line identification showed up on intercircle calls. The company, however, claims that it had applied to the regulator for clearance before launch of the service last year. It has provided a detailed explanation of its stand on Push-to-Talk and is awaiting a response from TRAI.
