Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is planning to provide Wi-Fi facility at railway stations, airport, religious places and other important locations across Haryana by end-2015.
To this end, the operator has identified 2,150 base transceiver stations (BTSs) in the state. Further, the operator has stated that the consumers would be issued passwords to access the Wi-Fi service.
Meanwhile, BSNL has also stated that over 5,000 telephone exchanges in the country are being replaced with modern equipment to bring more efficiency in the working of the telecom system.
