Lava targeting 25 per cent of sales volumes from eastern region

Lava International, which offers smartphones under the Lava and Xolo brands, is targeting 25 per cent of its total sales to come from the eastern region in India over the next one year. This is in comparison to 18 per cent that the company currently earns from the region, which includes West Bengal, Sikkim, Meghalaya, Jharkhand, Odisha, Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Assam, Tripura and Nagaland.
Currently, the western region contributes the maximum share at 28 per cent of sales, while the northern and southern regions contribute 22 per cent and 15 per cent to overall sales of the company respectively.
