Tejas Networks procures contract from Rwanda's Axiom Networks for its packet network rollout

Optical equipment supplier, Tejas Networks has procured a contract from Rwanda's Axiom Networks for its packet network rollout. The latter will utilise Tejas' Packet Transport and CE 2.0 certified TJ 1400P packet platform.
According to Tejas, its experience in India has helped it to better understand the requirements of customers in Africa, where the harsh operating environment and challenging business conditions are very similar to India. The company has bagged contracts from 50 customers across 23 countries in its two years of operations in Africa.
The company is now increasing its focus in Africa and has already setup offices in Nairobi (Kenya), Johannesburg (South Africa) and Lagos (Nigeria). Some of its customers in Africa include WIOCC, SEACOM, MTN Business, Access Kenya, Wananchi, Simbanet, BCS, Internet Solutions, Neotel, Zantel, Smile Communications & Noor Telecom.- Most Viewed
