Accenture to bring its startup innovation hub concept to India
Accenture is planning to bring its startup innovation hub concept to India which would focus on the development of new-generation technologies in the country such as internet of things (IoT).
Accenture already works with Indian startups in its FinTech Innovation Lab in Hong Kong. The company has also given grants to researchers from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT)-Bombay, IIT-Chennai, Birla Institute of Technology and Science - Pilani and Indian Institute of Science (IISc)-Bangalore for research in natural language programming, cognitive learning systems, and dependable software.
Accenture is also training its employees in India on newer digital technologies to serve both Indian as well as global clients. Further, the company is supporting the State Bank of India (SBI) and the government of Arunachal Pradesh in their digitisation programmes.
