MTNL to upgrade minimum broadband speed to 2 mbps
September 18, 2015
Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) has announced a free upgrade of its broadband download speed from 512 kbps to minimum two mbps across all the plans in the Delhi and Mumbai circles. This follows Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited’s (BSNL) decision to offer a minimum speed of 2 mbps to its customers.
The upgraded speed will be available to the operator’s existing customers as well as the new customers. The upgrade will be in addition to the free night calling scheme that the company offers for calls from the MTNL landlines to all operator network from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. in the two circles.
