Social Wi-Fi software company, Purple WiFi has partnered with Trend Vision to enhance latter’s product portfolio in India.

Under the partnership, Purple WiFi will add its cloud-based social Wi-Fi service, which includes presence analytics and location-based services, to Trend Vision’s portfolio of products.

Trend Vision is part of the Trend Group, and delivers Wi-Fi services to a range of high profile clients in India. Trend Group provides value-added IT solutions to companies in major Indian cities, such as Mumbai, Bangalore, Delhi, Chennai and Pune. Using technology from Dell, Sonic Wall, EMC, Sophos, Microsoft and Cisco, it helps businesses in deploying IT solutions.

Recognising the increasing potential of Wi-Fi, Trend Vision had earlier partnered with Ruckus in December 2014 for Wi-Fi hardware products.
