Motorola to start selling smartphones through retail stores

News , August 19, 2015

Motorola is planning to sell smartphones through retail stores in the country. The company has been selling the smartphones online, exclusively on Flipkart.

The move is aimed at reaching a wider consumer base. The company is of the view that most of the customers in the country are still buying devices through retail stores and have not shifted completely to e-commerce sites.

Motorola also plans to utilise its parent company Lenovo’s retail presence to sell its smartphones.
