Bharti Airtel has stated that the lack of adequate mobile towers is the primary reason behind frequent call drops that its customers are facing. To this end, the operator has urged that the misinformation related to effects of radiations form mobile towers be cleared among the population. This comes after the Department of Telecommunication stated that the operators need to make extra effort towards ensuring quality of service delivered to consumers.

Meanwhile, the operator has reduced the tariff on its 4G services by about 88 per cent to Rs 500 per GB of usage after a subscriber exhausts subscribed limit of data. Airtel promises to deliver super-fast internet speeds to its customers on 4G.
