Bharti Airtel initiates 4G service trials in Madurai
Bharti Airtel has initiated its 4G trials in Madurai following a positive response from Chennai. The upgrade to 4G is available at 3G prices for existing Airtel customers. These services can be availed of by Airtel users if they have a 4G supported mobile device and 4G SIM cards.
Through this trial, Airtel aims to use the customer feedback and further build on the network, while addressing the glitches, if reported. To expand the availability of 4G mobile devices for customers and build onto the 4G devices' ecosystem, Airtel has signed a range of device partnerships with Flipkart, Motorola and Samsung.
Airtel's 4G services are now available across India including Bengaluru, Mangalore, Pune, Chandigarh and Amritsar while trials are underway in cities including Delhi and Chennai.
