Bharti Airtel partners with Amazon Web Services to offer cloud computing services to its customers
Bharti Airtel has entered into a partnership with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer the latter’s cloud computing services to its customers in India. The company is of the view that this deal will help strengthen its cloud services portfolio while facilitating its global customers to leverage the benefits of cloud computing.
Amazon Web Services offers facilities such as website hosting, data storage and other software required to run or manage businesses. Under this partnership, Airtel’s customers will get a dedicated connection between their premise and AWS data centres. Amazon is of the view that by utilising AWS Direct Connect, customers will be able to avail of a more consistent network experience, as it reduces network costs and increases bandwidth throughput, thereby helping them rapidly expand their organizations.
