BSNL and MTNL sign a five-year contract with ONGC to provide telecom services
Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL) have signed a five-year contract with state-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) to provide pan India telecom services. The two telecom operator will provide basic telephones, mobile services, and leased circuits including VSAT services to ONGC all over the country.
A tripartite Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed by Mr. Shashi Shankar, director (T&FS), ONGC, Mr. A. N. Rai, chief managing director, BSNL and Mr. A. K. Purwar, chief managing director, MTNL for the next five years ending in March 2019.
ONGC has entered into agreement with BSNL and MTNL as they are providing complete telecom solution based on latest available technology all across country including remotest corners from Kashmir to Kanyakumari.
