Ericsson receives an order from the Malaysian company, Maxis Communications to provide a telephony softswitch solution

Ericsson has received an order from the Malaysian company, Maxis Communications to provide a telephony softswitch solution as part of its ongoing wireline network modernisation. The contract includes the deployment of a new international gateway switch and upgradation of an existing switch, as well as the provision of operations and maintenance support for five years. The solution, to be deployed soon, will provide Maxis with a scalable and flexible platform that will cater to Maxis' international voice and data traffic growth.
