BTVL's board has approved the merger of its subsidiaries –­Satcom Broadband Equipment Limited (SBEL) and Bharti Broadband Limited (BBL) –­ with BTVL. BBL (formerly Comsat Max) is the wholly owned subsidiary of SBEL (formerly CMax Infocomm).

SBEL is a subsidiary of BTVL. The board has also approved a proposal for merger of its subsidiary Bharti Hexacom, which provides cellular services in the northeast telecom circle, with the company.
