BTVL awards outsourcing contracts to IBM, Daksh, MphasiS, Teletech and Hinduja TMT Limited

BTVL has awarded an outsourcing contract to IBM, Daksh, MphasiS, Teletech and Hinduja TMT Limited to service its customers across 23 circles for three to five years. The contract is valued at between Rs 10 billion and Rs 15 billion. By November, the services currently being provided by other vendors will be taken to the BPOs. Around 6,000 call centre seats will be established by these companies during this period across India. The call centres will be used to handle inbound post-paid and prepaid queries and also to upsell and cross-sell value-added services.
