Aircel partners with Tech Mahindra for internet of things platform
Aircel has selected Tech Mahindra to rollout a comprehensive set of internet of things (IoT) services in the country.
Aircel intends to launch vertical specific solutions in the IoT space and cater to the market requirements for comprehensive service offerings across several vertical market segments such as smart energy, connected vehicle and smart cities, among others. The partnership will combine Aircel’s presence in the enterprise market with Tech Mahindra’s experience in providing the IoT services in association with Silicon Valley-based Aeris Communications.
Commenting on the selection of Tech Mahindra Suren Amarasekera, chief enterprise officer at Aircel said, "The need of the hour for digital enterprises is innovative technologies that would transform the way organisations operate. With Tech Mahindra and Aeris, Aircel is well-poised to deliver on this through a comprehensive suite of mobile to mobile (M2M) and IoT services.”
