Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited to launch its 4G services by March 2016

Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) is planning to launch its 4G services by March 2016. The company also plans to unveil competitive tariff plans for both 3G and 4G, during the same period.
BSNL will utilise its 20 MHz spectrum in the 2500 MHz band to launch its 4G services at select locations by March 2016. Meanwhile the company is in discussions with various telecom operators for spectrum sharing arrangements to provide next-generation services.
The company is also evaluating device-bundling options for popularising its 4G services and is currently in talks with various device manufacturers for consumer-friendly schemes. It is also planning to launch 4G through the Wi-Fi route.
