ACME Telepower shortlisted for “Green Mobile Award for Best Green Product/Service or Performance” category by GSMA
In recognition of ACME Telepower Limited’s innovative, eco-friendly products, services and initiatives, GSMA has shortlisted the nomination of the company for the “Green Mobile Award for Best Green Product/Service or Performance”. The 'Green Mobile Award’ highlights the role of mobile in the development of low carbon economies, industries and lifestyles through improved energy efficiency, alternative energy sources, recycling, conservation, travel, manufacturing and logistics cost reduction and eco-friendly consumption. All winners will be presented during the GSMA Global Mobile Awards Ceremony at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, on February 15.
Expressing his delight at the short-listing, 2011, Sandeep Sethi, CEO, ACME Telepower Limited said, “We feel deeply honored that our green solutions have been so well-recognized at such a prestigious forum. I am positive that this will set an example for many other companies in telecom, power as well as other sectors to switch to green and environment-friendly products and services. There has been a deliberate focus on commercializing technologies for environment-friendly and efficient energy generation systems like Solar Thermal for megawatt class power generation, as part of the company’s green approach initiative.
