The telecom equipment manufacturer Ericsson has acquired Airvana Network Solutions’ EVDO (enhanced voice-data only) business. Massachusetts-based company, Airvana Network Solutions is a key provider of EVDO software to Ericsson.

Following the acquisition, 38 employees of Airvana Network Solutions having expertise in deployment of EVDO software will join Ericsson.
