Alcatel-Lucent has reported a net loss of Euro 146 million for the third quarter, 2012. The company had reported a net profit of Euro 194 million during the corresponding quarter in 2011. Alcatel has cited restructuring costs and lower sales as the main reason for higher losses.
The company’s revenues for the reported quarter stood at Euro 3,599 million. For the same period, the company reported adjusted gross profit of Euro 1,004 million or 27.9 per cent of revenues and an adjusted operating loss of Euro 125 million or 3.5 per cent of revenues.
