AGC Networks reports revenue of Rs 2.82 billion for the second quarter of financial year 2012-13
AGC Networks has come out with its financial results for the second quarter of financial year 2012-13.
The company’s revenue has increased by 15 per cent from Rs 2.46 billion in the first quarter of 2013 to Rs 2.82 billion for the second quarter of financial year 2013. The earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and ammortisation (EBITDA) have increased by 31 per cent from Rs 240 million in the first quarter of 2013 to Rs 310 million for the corresponding period this year.
The company’s profit after tax (PAT) increased by 17 per cent from Rs 180 million in the first quarter of 2013 to Rs 210 million in the second quarter of the financial year 2013.
The services business of the company in the reported quarter registered a growth of 44 per cent growth over the first quarter of 2013 and unified communications witnessed a growth of 9 per cent in the second quarter of 2013 as compared to the first quarter of 2013.
Commenting on the results, S K Jha, managing director and chief executive officer, AGC Networks says, “AGC has been showing and delivering substantial growth not just in terms of the quarter but in terms of delivering differentiated customer value for the long term. We are focused on our strategy to help reach out to new geographies ‘enabling customer experience’ to more customers and continuing to make substantial investments in the newer geographies.”
