Bharti Airtel ties up with taxi-service app, Uber for its wallet services

Bharti Airtel has entered into a partnership with taxi-service app, Uber for its wallet services. With this partnership, Uber consumers will be able to pay with Airtel’s mobile wallet service, Airtel Money. In addition, Uber users in Mumbai will be able to avail free access to Airtel 4G Wi-Fi internet inside Uber taxis.
Uber is the first technology platform to officially launch Airtel Money. For a limited time, new Uber riders who top up their Airtel Money wallet will be able to avail of benefits of up to Rs 500. Further, this integration will provide riders with another hassle-free payment option. Uber already has a similar tie-up with Paytm Wallet.
