SoftBank Mobile has partnered with Gemalto to introduce services supported by near field communication (NFC) technology in Japan.

SoftBank Mobile will use the Gemalto Allynis Trusted Service Management solution to secure back-end network and offer value-added mobile NFC services. SoftBank Mobile will offer subscribers NFC enabled services like mobile payments and real-time couponing.
