SSTL appoints Sergey Savchenko as its chief executive officer
Sistema Shyam TeleServices Limited (SSTL) has appointed Sergey Savchenko as its chief executive officer (CEO). He will be replacing Dmitry Shukov who has recently resigned from the company.
Prior to this appointment, Sergey was the deputy chief operating officer and chief financial officer of SSTL. Under this position, he was responsible for the overall supervision of the finance, legal and compliance functions and implementation of best practices of management and control. During his 7 year stay with the Sistema Group, Sergey has held various positions, such as Vice president and financial director of Sistema Group, and vice president for finance and investments at Sistema Telecom.
Meanwhile, Shukov has resigned due to personal reasons. He was appointed as the CEO of SSTL in June 2013 after former India head Vsevolod Rozanov was named global finance head of Russian parent Sistema JSFC.
