Bharti Airtel has appointed Nilanjan Roy as its global chief financial officer (CFO). His appointment will become effective from August 5, 2015. He succeeds Srikanth Balachandaran, who has now been appointed as the global chief human resources officer.

Roy is currently working as the company’s CFO for India and South Asia business. Prior to joining Airtel, he has worked with Unilever in India and overseas for 15 years.

Bharti Airtel has also appointed Rajiv Mathrani as the chief brand officer for its India operations. He takes over from Mohit Beotra and will be responsible for leading the company’s brand positioning, strategic initiatives and associations.
