The United States-based smartphone brand, InFocus has roped in Nitin Garg as its marketing director. Garg joins the company from Samsung where he worked for over two-and-a-half years between 2012 and 2015. He joined Samsung in 2012 as go-to-market category head for smartphones and was later promoted as product head, tablets.
At InFocus, Garg will be responsible for promoting the company’s smartphone business in India. He will report to Sachin Thapar, country head, InFocus.
Garg has over 14 years of industry experience and has worked across different brands including Godfrey Philips, HT Media, Open Media Network and Samsung.
