Airtel Africa appoints Anwar Soussa as MD for Chad

Airtel Africa has appointed former chief operating officer of South Africa-based telecom operator MTN, Anwar Soussa, as the managing director (MD) for Airtel Chad. He will succeed Salia Gbane, the current MD, Chad, who has put in his papers at the company.
Soussa will assume office beginning May 1, 2015. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the American College of Greece and a Master of Science degree in Marketing from Concordia University, Canada.
