Vodafone India has appointed Nick Gliddon as the director for Vodafone Business Services, the enterprise business unit of the operator. He is going to succeed Naveen Chopra who has been elevated to the position of the chief operating officer of Vodafone India.

Before taking on his new role at Vodafone India, Gliddon was serving as the director of the enterprise business unit for Vodafone Egypt. Prior to joining Vodafone Egypt in October 2012, he was the head of Northern European market for Vodafone Global Enterprise. Vodafone Global Enterprise is the business unit accountable for the end to end management of Vodafone's largest corporate customers worldwide.

Gliddon joined Vodafone in March 2008 from Siemens IT Solutions and Services, the systems integration and software practice of Siemens AG. Prior to Siemens, Gliddon held senior roles at Hutchison Whampoa and Cable & Wireless Plc.
