Ajay Sharma has resigned from the role of chief executive officer (CEO) of Obi Mobile’s India operations. Prior to working with Obi Mobiles, Sharma was working as the head of smartphones SBU with Micromax Infomatics Limited. Prior to this, he held key positions at HTC India, where he was responsible for setting up the sales marketing and service operations in India and supporting the South Asia regional sales teams.

Obi Mobiles ventured into the Indian smartphone industry in early 2014 and offers smartphones in the range of Rs 4,000-Rs 10,000.
