Bharti Airtel has appointed Srikanth Karra as director, human resources (HR) for the company’s India and South Asia operations.

He will also serve as a member of the Airtel Management Board and will report directly to Gopal Vittal, managing director and chief executive officer (India and South Asia), Bharti Airtel.

Karra will be responsible for introducing business focused and innovative HR systems and processes at Bharti Airtel. With over 27 years of industry experience, he has worked with various companies, including Hewlett Packard India, Syntel and GECIS (India).
