IESA appoints M N Vidyashankar as president
India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA), the trade body representing the Indian Electronic System Design and Manufacturing industry, has appointed M N Vidyashankar, as its new president.
In the past, Vidyashankar has served as additional chief secretary, Department of Commerce and Industries, and principal secretary, Department of Information Technology, Bio Technology and Science and Technology, Government of Karnataka.
He has about three decades of experience in management and administration of various government offices, autonomous bodies, boards and corporations. At present, he is serving on the board of various industry and academia committees such as Additive Manufacturing Society of India and International Institute of Information Technology Bangalore among others.
