Avaya has appointed Priyadarshi Mohapatra as the managing director for the company’s India and SAARC operations.

Mohapatra will be responsible for providing strategic direction to ensure delivery of solutions including unified communications, video collaboration, customer experience management and data networking space. In addition, he will also play a key role in strengthening channel partner relations and driving growth in the mid-market segment.

Mohapatra has 17 years of industry experience and prior to joining Avaya, was associated with SAP. In the past, he has also worked with Sun Microsystem.
