MAIT has appointed Amar Babu, managing director, Lenovo India as president and Debjani Ghosh, managing director, sales and marketing, Intel South Asia as vice-president during its 30th Annual General Meeting for 2013- 14.

A management post graduate from XLRI, Jamshedpur, Amar Babu holds an Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics from PSG Tech, Coimbatore. He has over 17 years of experience with more than 10 years in various leadership roles. He was serving as the vice- president of MAIT for 2012- 13.

Debjani Ghosh has been the managing director of sales and marketing operations for South Asia at Intel Technology India since January 1, 2012. Ghosh served as chief executive officer of Intel Malaysia and director of Intel Groups Southeast Asia at Intel Corporation. Ghosh served as director of sales and marketing for Southeast Asia at Intel Technology India until December 2011. She has been with Intel for 18 years.
