China-based telecom equipment maker, Huawei has appointed Eric Xu as the active chief executive officer (CEO) of the company. Xu’s will take on the new role beginning October 2013 and continue as CEO at the company till March 31, 2013.

The appointment is in line with Huawei’s rotating CEO system.
