Canada-based telecom and media company, Rogers Communications has appointed Guy Laurence as the chief executive officer (CEO) of the company.

Laurence will succeed Nadir Mohamed, current CEO of Rogers Communications, who is due to retire from the organisation in December 2013. Laurence is currently serving as CEO of Vodafone UK.

Besides working with Vodafone UK and Vodafone Netherland, Laurence has also been associated with MGM Studios.
