Trend Micro Inc. has appointed Dhanya Thakkar as managing director for India & SAARC.

Thakkar brings to the table over 18 years of experience in numerous start-ups as well as large global public companies. He joined Trend Micro after it had acquired IndusGuard, which he co-founded and served as president.
