Uninor offers Suryan FM channels across Tamil Nadu on the mobile handset
Uninor has tied up with Suryan FM, powered by Hungama Mobile. Under the deal, Uninor’s customers will be able to access their hometown’s radio station even while travelling.
Customers can access Suryan FM in Tamil Nadu and 7 RED FM stations from across the country for Rs 10 for a week with usage of up to 100 minutes.
The service is priced between Re 1 and Rs 10 (depending on usage) and comes bundled with free minutes of music streaming.
Commenting on the initiative, Amaresh Kumar, chief product officer, Uninor said “Our current association with Suryan FM in Tamil Nadu is yet another significant step in providing a unique entertainment product to the masses. Both FM and telecom services have been known as the common man’s product and have proved to be great medium of entertainment and communication respectively. We are hopeful that these two mediums when bundled together would yield delightful results for all our customers.”
