AKAI has entered the Indian handheld space, with the launch of the AKAI SLIMZ, a dual SIM-based offering that comes equipped with a QVGA screen, a 1.3-megapixel camera and expandable memory upto 8 GB.

Priced at Rs 3,695, other features include dual standby, multiple bright colors, FM Radio, e-book compatibility, WAP, GPRS, MMS and PC synchronisation.
