Microsoft Mobile has launched the Microsoft Lumia 535 in India for a price of Rs 9,199. The dual-SIM smartphone has a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a qHD along with a resolution of 540x960 pixels and the screen pixel density of 220ppi. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor and runs on Windows Phone 8.1 operating system with Lumia Denim update. The Lumia 535 has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 128 GB through a microSD card.
It features a 5 megapixel autofocus primary camera and a front facing camera with the same specifications. Further, the smartphone also provides services like Office Suite, One Drive, Skype and Xbox console titles as in-built applications for the users.
With the launch, Microsoft Mobile has given India-specific offers on the Lumia 535. These include two months free subscription to BoxTV, e-books worth Rs 1,500 through Flipkart e-Books and a discount of Rs 6,000, valid on purchases through the Windows Phone Jabong app for three months. Also, the Vodafone users can avail free mobile Internet pack of 500 MB for two months on their Lumia 535 smartphones.
