Serco appoints Tom Riall as the chief executive officer of its global services business
Serco has appointed Tom Riall as the chief executive officer of its newly formed global services business, with immediate effect.
In this role, Riall will be responsible for operating the entire business and ensuring the long-term success and profitability of the global services division.
With a career spanning over 25 years in the service industry, Riall has held senior leadership positions in Onyx UK Limited and Reliance Group plc, before joining Serco eight years ago as managing director of the home affairs business.
He subsequently became the chief executive officer of Serco’s largest division in the UK, a post he held for five years until his appointment to lead the company’s newly established BPO business.
Susir Kumar will take over as executive chairman of Serco’s global services division.
