TTSL is planning to launch its CDMA service in the Assam and Northeast circles around August 2008. The company intends to invest Rs 2.9 billion in installing 255 base stations in the two circles. Overall, during 2008-09, the company will be investing Rs 6.06 billion in the eastern circles, of which the maximum amount will be spent on installing 713 new base stations.
