State-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has finalised a tender for rolling out 22.75 million GSM lines, with Ericsson accepting the letter of intent for laying 13.13 million lines.
As per the terms of the tender, Ericsson will begin adding 2 million connections per month from 2008. It will also deliver telecom-related services such as network design, deployment and systems integration to BSNL.
