DoT is targeting to provide spectrum in the 1900 MHz band to CDMA operators for conducting field trials. While ZTE will supply the equipment and handsets for the testing, CDMA players such as TTSL and RCL will provide the logistics. However, GSM operators have warned that allocation in this band will adversely affect GSM services offered in the 2100 MHz band.
