ISPs plan to share infrastructure and bandwidth

News , November 15, 2006

Foty-five ISPs are ready to share infrastructure and bandwidth in order to compete more effectively with large integrated telecom players offering internet services. ISPAI will evolve a mechanism that will, for instance, enable Category A ISPs to use the excess bandwidth available with Category C ISPs. Once the deal is in place, ISPs could jointly roll out a nationwide Wi-Max network for wireless broadband.
