Bharti Airtel and its tower arm, Bharti Infratel, have restructured their board of directors, according to news reports. As per the new structure, Rakesh Bharti Mittal has been appointed the chairman of Bharti Infratel.

Also on Bharti Infratel's board are Akhil Gupta in the capacity of vice-chairman and managing director, Bharat S. Raut, Jitender Balakrishnan, N. Kumar, Sanjay Nayar, Sarvjit Singh Dhillon and Vinod Kumar Dhall.

Meanwhile, Manish Kejriwal and Obiageli Katryn Ezekwesili have been appointed to Bharti Airtel's board, while Sunil Mittal continues as chairman and managing director.

Bharti Airtel's board will also include Ajay Lal, Chua Sock Koong, Craig Ehrlich, Manoj Kohli, Nikesh Arora, Pulak Prasad, Rajan Bharti Mittal, Tan Yong Choo and Tsun-yan Hsieh.
