Sanjay Mathur quits as VP – Global Technology Centres, Asia Pacific at Cisco Systems
Sanjay Mathur has stepped down as vice-president (VP) – global technology Centres, Asia Pacific at Cisco Systems.
Mathur had been leading a team of 700 engineers and managed the Cisco Technical Assistance Centres in Bengaluru and Sydney, since August 2011. He had joined Cisco in October 2010 as VP - Technical Services, Emerging Markets and was responsible for technical support delivery to Latin America, West Asia, Africa, Eastern Europe and Russia.
Over the last six months, Cisco has seen the exit of several senior executives including Rajesh Rege, Country Head of the company’s Data Centre and Cloud Business for India and South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation and Aravind Sitaraman, President – Inclusive Growth. While Rege joined Red Hat India as its managing director, Sitaraman is working with start-ups in Bengaluru, Pune, Chennai and Hyderabad, advising them on technology strategy.
