Milan Rao quits Bharti Airtel
Milan Rao, chief executive officer (CEO) of Bharti Airtel’s enterprise business has put in his papers. He had joined Bharti Airtel in 2003 and held various senior positions leading the operators’ enterprise business.
Rao’s resignation follows leadership changes at Bharti Airtel’s enterprise business. The company has split its enterprise business under two heads. Earlier, the entire business-to-business portfolio was led by Bharti Airtel’s enterprise business head, Drew Kelton.
However, following his departure from the company, Ajay Chitkara has taken over as the CEO of the global data and voice business. Meanwhile, Neil Pollock has been appointed as the head of the Bharti Airtel’s newly created data centre subsidiary – Nxtra Data Limited. Prior to his new role, Pollock was serving as head, integrated managed solutions and services business at Bharti Airtel.
